WHAT A SQUARE WATER MELON HAS TO SAY!

A round water melon can take up a lot of room in a refrigerator.

And the usually round fruit often sits awkwardly on refrigerator shelves. 

To sort the problem out, smart Japanese farmers have forced their watermelons to grow into a square shape by inserting the melons into square, tempered glass cases while the fruit is still growing on the vine. 

It’s really amazed me to know how the melon which normally grows round in its natural habitat gets itself accommodated to the condition to which it is being forced into and takes up a completely different shape.

Imagine how hard a struggle/pressure it must have been through within the square glass cases to overcome the barriers and to ultimately allowing it to undergo the fascinating change without loosing its value.

Life too often forces us into such a pressure situation. We find ourselves entrapped from all sides, too burdened by tasks and responsibilities that there is simply no breathing space to really make a way out of it.
