IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO PRAY!!!

If you find yourself in the most dangerous situation and you find no support, the least you can do is PRAY.

Pray can work any time and at any moment. Never say that it is of no use praying now. It is never too late to pray. Here is a fable to help us understand this.

Some pigeons used to perch on a tree in a garden. A hunter began to frequent the garden every day and shoot down one of the pigeons to take home.

Once two pigeons were perched on the tree when they saw the hunter come towards them. At the same time, they also saw a hawk hovering above the tree,

The two pigeons conferred, 'what do we do now? If we sit here the hunter will shoot us down and if we take off, the hawk will kill us.'

One of the pigeons said, "There is only way out now – PRAYER.’ Come let’s pray together.’ The other pigeon moaned, ‘There is no use praying now. The time for prayer has already passed."

The first one replied, 'It is never too late to pray. We can start praying whenever we remember it.' They both prayed earnestly with deep feeling, and with the faith that God will save them from this calamity.

As soon as they finished praying, they saw that the hunter was aiming at them and just about to release the arrow, when a scorpion bit him. The arrow flew in the wrong direction and struck the hawk flying in the sky!

Wasn't it the result of their prayer that they got rid of both their enemies in one shot?

Dear friend, clear off every bit of doubt lingering around your mind and engrave in your mind that it is never too late to pray.

Even in the direst situations, do not forget to pray, even if you do not see any signs of your prayer getting answered.

Be encouraged to trust in God's promise for you, "Call upon me in the day of  trouble; I will deliver you." (Psalms 50:15) 

Remember, 'Prayer is the first means to attain God’s grace.'
