The vision of this blog is to make a sincere effort to bring spiritual nourishment to one's soul and make the soul fat. There is a kind of fatness that delights the very heart of God. Many spiritual functions parallel physical functions. As our bodies hunger and thirst, so do our souls. But our souls need spiritual food and water. The word of God offers us free nourishment that feeds our soul. Spiritually we can eat and eat until our minds, emotions, and wills have a high degree of pleasure, joy & spiritual fatness. Spiritual food not only satisfies us, but it also makes our souls fat. While lean bodies have better health, strength, growth appearance and longevity, this truth is reversed in the spiritual realm. Fat souls are the ones who are healthy and attractive. When our spirits are fully grown and mature, our souls become fat . Soul fatness brings our behavior in line with the highest standard possible for humans to achieve – CHRISTLIKENESS.
We would not think of depriving our bodies of food and water when they hunger or thirst. Why then should we deprive our souls?
