Many of us get entangled too much in our busy schedule everyday that we find little time to pray.
But we have to keep in mind that any work whether secular or spiritual, done without prayer would yield less fruit.
We must begin each day by tuning our instruments with the help of the great conductor. Prayer is the key for the day and the lock for the night.
When Satan cannot keep us from doing the work for the Lord, he comes behind us and pushes us into doing too much work and much we do is not right”.
Do you find it difficult to pray?
Even the disciples of Jesus did not find it easy either. They asked the Lord to teach them how to pray. It is a strategic point. The devil smiles when we are immersed in our work, but trembles when we pray.
Theology without "Kneeology" is nothing but a waste !
"The life without prayer is just as fruitless as a beautiful lamp without electricity". What is the use of the lamp if it does not give light? So also our lives will be powerless without prayer.Our work for the Lord will become futile.
In the Bible, we see Daniel who inspite of holding a responsible office, took time to pray to God three times a day. And his steadfast prayer life only rescued him from the jaws of the lions.
So, let us also begin each day with prayer. Let us still our souls and wait upon the Lord to hear His gentle voice. Without His guidance, and His blessing we cannot achieve anything. Prayer alone relieves our stress and anxiety.It delivers us from the enemy's snare. Let us not neglect it for any reason but long for the sweet hour of prayer.
And for families, it holds truth that a "family that prays together stays together". A house without a prayer is without a roof....which is like an open invitation for the devil to attack at will.
Dear friends, how much importance do we attach to our prayer life? Have we made it a regular practise by setting apart a certain place & time to converse with our Lord ?
It is important that we stand in His presence early morning each day to receive His grace which is refreshing each morning.
